Snickers was another foster cat I brought home from the Animal Shelter who ended up becoming a permanent member of the household.

She originally came from the fishing village of Seldovia across the bay, along with two of her siblings. The other two cats found homes quickly but Snickers was left behind. When she came down with a serious respiratory virus, I worried about her future, so I brought her home to nurse her back to health--and she never went back to the Shelter.

She turned out to be a rugged, sturdy cat with plentiful personality. She loves people and always comes to greet us whenever we go into the shop. She is a joy to behold as she bounces through life.
