She seems to make a point of befriending each new arrival, with a special affinity for those who are most resistant to friendship. Then she wears them down with her relentless good-humor until they eventually succumb.

Although she is epileptic, she has great quality-of-life and is ruggedly healthy despite the rough start she got.
